How to Leverage Emotional Intelligence

to Help Us through This Challenging Time

Thursday, May 7th, 2020 at 11:00am PST
In these unprecedented times, managers must not neglect their leadership responsibilities. Everyone is looking for someone who can elevate hearts and minds, quiet anxieties, and inspire people to want to act even when they may not feel like doing it. This leader is you! But before we can positively inspire and calm those around us, we must ensure we lead ourselves first.

This learning experience takes leaders on a journey through all four components of emotional intelligence: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management, focusing particularly on those skills most needed today. Leaders will learn how to recognize their own emotions and tendencies and understand how to deploy them to influence, inspire, and motivate those who need it most. We will focus on our social awareness to recognize when others need our help or support and how to interact and listen with empathy and understanding. Finally, we will talk about the key elements that build strong relationships and let our people know that we care.
Learning Objectives
  • Understand how to become more self-aware of your emotions and tendencies that impact those around you
  • Learn how to manage those tendencies and maintain a positive outlook, even when we are unsure of what is happening next
  • Review what it means to be socially aware and why empathy is an important leadership skill, especially right now in this new world as we work with employees on the front line
  • Discover how to foster and strengthen trusting relationships with five actionable steps

How to Welcome Your Team Back, Reconnect Them to Your Brand,

and Set Them Up for Success

Thursday, May 21st, 2020 at 11:00am PST
The world has changed for everyone, especially in the lives of employees everywhere. As organizations prepare to rebuild and reopen for business, they’ll also need to reconnect with their employees. Orientation and onboarding are two critical cultural mechanisms that can emotionally connect employees to one another and the brand’s mission.

Naturally, once employees are welcomed back to a new normal, leaders at all levels of organizations will find value in becoming servant leaders, applying empathy, compassion, and a heart for hospitality to their leadership. During this webinar, leaders will learn what it means to be a servant leader, and they’ll walk away with actionable plans to become servant leaders themselves. This learning experience also teaches leaders how to strategically design memorable orientations and effective onboarding programs to reconnect their employees to one another and, most importantly, to the brand. We’ll then unpack how leaders can rebuild and reopen their organizations with even more passion, creativity, and commitment than before these unprecedented events.
Learning Objectives
  • Understand how to deliver a memorable first day back and reconnect team members to your brand

  • Learn how to design an effective onboarding program and set new team members up for success
